I was wondering if anyone has done a case mod to install a fan for the WRT310N? I want to add a fan for my 2 310N's as they do run a little on the hot side...

I added a 120mm fan to the base of a WRT310n router some time ago.

Documents the process.

The router is still in operation at a customers site, still going strong.

The 310N ran fine on hot tropical 92F for 8 months, 24x7 under a shelf for months with no issues. I doubt adding fan would help in anyway accept to "feel better". Routers are bought to be used, not to be pampered Very Happy
