first of all thx for patience and help i might get :)

i have flashed my linksys wrt54gl with dd-wrt v24-sp2 (10/10/09) mini and cannot make it do connect to internet through dlink 584-t which is set to bridge mode. this is the setup that worked with original linksys firmware.

of those relevant information i checked here's a summary:
setup - basic setup:
connection type: PPPoE
username and pass are entered properly
all option in WAN connection type box are disabled

Network Setup
after concating my ISP i have been told i dont need to enter gateway or local DNS and that username and pass are enough to make a proper connection.

DHCP server is disabled

when i check status tab, WAN i get:

Loggin status: Disconnected

When i try to connect through connect link i get this message:

Connection Type: Disabled

Can i still maintain same setup of devices with dlink remaining in bridge mode and make linksys connect through it? please help me determining what am i doing wrong.

EDIT: must add that Internet light on linksys is flashing while dlink ADSL light is lit.
local network works fine for both ethernet and wirelessly connected computers.

regards,
imp
