That a tough sell even to a noob because of the 350N USB port it must have been just a hole. Sad. Sorry dude.

NP.. Already started the dispute with PayPal.. FYI.. I paid just a bit under 80 bucks for the 350... We all know that a 300 v1.1 refurb is available for 35 bucks or so from e-cost..

I got hosed but I know I'll be ok.. Gotta love Paypal..

Yup that's right in the ballpark for what I paid for my 2 350N's. I usually pass on people selling with under 50 positive feedback and less than 98% positive. But it's only a guide for me. I've been burned way too many times on eBay since I joined in 98/99.

Update.. Donno if the seller was being completely honest but he said that he did not know the difference and he also got snookered.. He is not a router guy.. Just sells stuff on e-bay.

He has already given me credit plus return shipping without receiving the router back. I of course, promised to have it in the mail no later than tomorrow.

Just won another one so I hope this one turns out better.

I only have 6 so far (but to be fair i don't need any more at the moment) ~

3x Buffalo WHR-G54S's (2 are doing WDS at folks', the other is hanging off a cable modem at kids') - these are now sooo expensive on Ebay, i bought the first 2 new for something like £17 delivered.

3x Linksys ~ WRT54GS v6 & WRT54G v2 & WRT54G v5 (The first 2 are here hanging off an O2 'wireless Box II', the Linksys are in Repeater mode, the v5 was for extra range in the garden but the range isn't actually too bad so it's not plugged in all the time).

..all on my beloved v23 sp2 Laughing Laughing which has done me proud for almost 2years now

Bought another WRT54G, v2.0, purely for Nintendo DS use as apparently the DS can only use WEP and i only do WPA or WPA2, am not having that insecure WEP on my main routers. And obviously i'll be putting my beloved v23 sp2 on it as soon as it arrives. Surely i'm a Ho now Rolling Eyes

I have that same issue here but my old WRT54G v1.0 is doing the DS duty in my house. I figure 125mHz is enough for my kids. Laughing

We're ALL "HOs". But see the thread title.

I might be getting close to passing the high achievers here, but I keep trying to count my routers, get to ten, run out of fingers, and then enter this endless "reboot" cycle.....

Go get country and use your toes. It helps when you "upgrade" your counting apparatus. Wink
