I am planning to buy two NetGear WNHDE111 AP/Bridge devices to create a wireless bridge between two buildings. I can get them refurb. for $40 each. The only shame is I wish the signals could be directional. Are there any options in this price range that will do the same things but have the advantage of being directional?

Hi Drewmister,

Check out this eBay store: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Wi-Fi-arturek The prices may be a little more than you want to spend, but I have not found a better deal for powerful antennas anywhere. I have two of the 18 dBi antennas and I have been using them outside for 3 years no problem. Make note though, the connectors are RP SMA, I don't know what the connector style is on the WNHDE111. When I got mine I had to purchase some RP TNC connectors to make them fit with my WRT54G. I don't know how far apart your buildings are, but I getting 12% siginal strength over 2 miles with 251mW. Hope this helps.
