Well I went to the Wiki and entered in WRT54G-TM and it showed the link only to my original page, which was blank. I have restored it as your link does not show up when searching for WRT54G-TM.

I just cleaned up the Linksys section. It was getting rather confusing. Not to mention long.

Go to the Wiki page, type in WRT54G-TM, it will only display the original link shown below:

But if you type in "Linksys WRT54G-TM" It does show, sorry was trying to make it a little more specific, since the Wiki has more than one manufacturer in it.

Yes I understand that, but if someone only searches by model number, your link will not show up. I guess this is a little glitch with the search box.

If you type in WRT54G-TM and then click on the Search for articles containing ''WRT54G-TM'' link it gives you 20 link results.

Guess I will have to go through my posts and update the links to the new Wiki entry that you made.

BTW, when you moved it the original page still came up but was blank. This is why I asked you. I was not aware that you moved it to another page.

This is my bad for not posting a redirect. I can do that and you won't have to change any links. Again my apologies.

When I just typed in WRT54G-TM in the Wiki search, it brought me straight to the article.

I just checked out the option to move a page and it does say this:

Quote:
Move page
From DD-WRT Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

Using the form below will rename a page, moving all of its history to the new name. The old title will become a redirect page to the new title. Links to the old page title will not be changed; be sure to check for double or broken redirects. You are responsible for making sure that links continue to point where they are supposed to go.

Note that the page will not be moved if there is already a page at the new title, unless it is empty or a redirect and has no past edit history. This means that you can rename a page back to where it was just renamed from if you make a mistake, and you cannot overwrite an existing page.

WARNING! This can be a drastic and unexpected change for a popular page; please be sure you understand the consequences of this before proceeding.

As highlighted above, it says that the old title will link to the new title, but it did not link to the new title. It only brought up a blank page.

Yes, it brought you to the article that I just restored a few minutes ago. DHC_DarkShadow just updated the original page with a redirect link to the new page.

Well...glad all THAT is sorted out. Shocked Rolling Eyes

Detailed instructions have been added for the wrt310n. Previously, they only said to use peacock number 1, with an old link to the proper build. Upgraded to 12874.

I added this to Useful scripts.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Useful_Scripts#Other_Useful_Misc._Scripts

Please let me know if there are any mistakes and/or add more.

I'm trying to consolidate them into one area instead of having them scattered around the Wiki and the Forum..
