Tried Google CHrome as well, still gave the same results.

Oh well, at least the utilities are packages and are hosted by the DD-WRT server now, so if in the future Olegs site is down, they will still be up...

The spirit of the siproxd page is to create a transparent proxy for SIP. The original author didn't succeed in using the included milkfish sip proxy, so he installed siproxd. I added a discussion here on my experience using milkfish as a transparent proxy for a particular SIP client on the network.

Do you think it could be added to the main article?

I added new wiki material on top of the old material on the wl520gu. This is just meant to replace top portion of the wiki that deals with installing.

I dunno how you find the Asus Utility a pain in the ass....It is the simplest method for flashing, restoring etc., plus it will upload Mega builds which TFTP will not do.

On top of that, when you buy the router, it comes with the disk and is the best method for newbies using Windows (XP at least)...

But, good info on the TFTP method for the router...I modified your intro a little and added better instructions for the Utility.

I still think nothing could be simpler than using the tftp utility. It works fine. I do not encourage the flashing of mega builds on new routers due to the time that they take to flash and the problem people already have in waiting. That can and should be done with the webgui.

I have re-modified the intro to include the use of the disk, but made them less opinionated. I still think that the utility is a pain. It scans wireless and breaks wireless connections and does things that you can't control. It has its place, but its intrinsic instructions keep too much control out of user hands. I will, however, try the asus utility again as when I did this yesterday I did NOT like it. But I haven't successfully used it in over a year. Perhaps I am just used to tftp. At least we have detailed instructions on using it, including a wiki article.

How come "Big" doesn't do anything? I thought it was mega without asterisk.

Nope mega has asterisk, thats the reason it has no space for jffs. Now as far as features I haven't found time to fun through all the features of the new addition. But, being a wiki that means you could help too. Laughing

I would if I knew if it did or didn't have the capabilities.. As I said, I thought big didn't contain asterisk. Other than that, I thought they were the same.

I created a separate page for formatting/ partitioning external drives for Optware, etc. Trying to minimize the size of the "Optware, the right way" Wiki. Before I delete the format instructions in that Wiki, let me know what you think of this:

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_-_Format_and_Partition_External_Storage_Device

Also, the "Disk Utility" in Ubuntu 9.10 is worthless. It won't let you create a Swap file. I used GParted instead for the tutorial.

The Disk Utility is also incredibly slow to update... discovered that when I did the text method this weekend. I was looking at the Disk Utility going "WTF"?

I'd like to suggest adding InfraRecorder (http://infrarecorder.org/) and/or Free ISO burner (http://www.freeisoburner.com). Both are free programs that will burn iso files... and I've found both a bit easier to use than Nero.

Very nice job BTW Smile
