23919 did not brick my router. Also recommended to use the latest stable, or this version due to updates to Open SSL, and update your router password. _________________ Netgear XR500

I am using the latest DD-WRT (23919) for my DIR-825 and I am unable for the router to mount an USB NTFS formatted drive. Is this supported? If not, is there a way to enable this?
make sure you are not using hybla for tcp congestion control
Thanks for suggestion. But not working.
IP Filter Maxiumum Ports 4096
Active connections: 40
Westwood
TCP timeout 600
UDP timeout 120
Have WAN Traffic Controller disabled. Also my wifi speed went down from 100mbps to 60mbps.
Load avarage: 0.04, 0.11, 0.10
Memory Available 94%
Upgraded to DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/18/14) std too. Didn't fix.
I have the same problem as you mentioned.
over ethernet or wifi if over wifi which freq band? b1 or b2 units? b2 seems to get some random unknown issues that b1 dont get. _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)

Just flashed my D-Link DIR-825 rev B1 with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/18/14) std 23919. 2.4GHz and 5GHz radios come up and I can connect. However, on the 5GHz channel, I have some issues.
If I set the channel to N-only, I can't connect no matter what. If I set it mixed mode, I can connect, but even with Channel Width set to "Turbo, 40 MHz", I am limited to the same 54mbps as standard wireless G on 2.4GHz. (I assume this is the result of mixed mode, same as older wireless B/G where if you set mixed mode, the max data rate was limited to the lower of the two.)
Is there anyone who is actually getting 300mbps (wide channel) N speeds with DD-WRT on the DIR-825 rev B1 with any build of DD-WRT? Pointers, advice, workarounds...appreciate anything anyone can offer here.
I had tried DD-WRT on this device back in 2012 but there were issues getting the 5GHz channel to come up at all back then, so I went back to the stock firmware. Now the 5Ghz channel comes up...but I really need the higher transfer rate of N-only 300 mbps.
Yes, wireless lan is the only thing that seems to work at all with this version, that and the web gui. And the only way to revert to a previous version is using the wlan. _________________ Netgear XR500

Beta Version: r24160
Reset: 30/30/30
Status: OK
Errors: Unable to access by wifi with an Android device (Nexus 7 - fully updated). Both bands showed as inaccessible. However my wireless printer on the 2.4ghz band was functioning without issues. Rebooting the router fixed the problem. _________________ Netgear XR500

Just installed this, 24160, works fine speeds are great when nearby but I'm using the supplied 2dbi antennas and the range is AWWWWWFUL compared to anything I've ever used/installed. Do 7/9dbi gain antennas resolve the issue or need higher power wndr3700 unit? 5ghz is basically useless outside of the room I have the AP mounted in

Ya, I have a DIR-825 rev. b1 as well, and it works beautifully throughout the house. It is mounted on my desk in a back corner of the house. I have it set up so my neighbour across the street can access it in an emergency, and while the signal isn't great across the street, it works for her if she moves her laptop to the front of the house. And this is with the stock, crap antennae. _________________ Netgear XR500
