No, I'm not a GUI-guy.
I'm installing everything from the console and wrote a script for the whitelight to replace busybox for all the tools.
I have the bluering (32MB RAM) and the whitelight (128 MB RAM).

you mean worldbook factory firmware allows to telnet or ssh ?

Yes

The whitelight needs a checkbox marked and there's a little hack to enable ssh for the bluering...

i just bought an linksys NSLU and i putted debian lenny on it. I have a 32 gig flash drive on it with the debian install on it, no web interface and i only have smb, avahi and netatalk (avahi=zeroconf aka bonjour and netatalk=apple file protocol). I want to use it for security webcam too but still tinkering with that. I'm trying not to use any swap file because of flash wear. Maybe i'm gonna put the swap partition on the connected harddisk.
I love debian, it's my first time on linux CLI and i've learned alot about linux in doing so :)

I think the sheevaplug is a nice device...

All you Linksys NSLU2/SLUG'rs out there....
Have you made any good tips or guides in your travels??
I've had my SLUG for a while now, and it's unSlung with an 8GB USB stick riding on it, but I have not taken it to the Dedian Lenny level yet.

Kewl and helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

I have upgraded the original firmware to Snake Os and everything is working but not Transmission. I set it on port 14950 but there is nothing on that address.
I set in DD-WRT the port forwarding 14950 to 14950 on ip machine 192.168.4.10.
