OK...
I figured I'd post this so people know what's inside the WHR-G300N.
These are the 2 internal antennas that are shipped in every unit.
They are about 1-2 inches long - 2.5 to 5 centimeters for you metrics.
I have a comparison picture of the 2 antennas placed next to
a Fonera original antenna that is 3 inches long - 7.6 centimeters.
These things are SMALL, i.e. - you're not going to be able to compare
performance to some of the Linksys routers that have the huge
external antennas hooked up, or that allow replacement.
Modify your antennas! You will see such a difference that the
external antennas can make to a WHR-G300N.
Edit: You have to be logged in to see the pics - sign up! It's free!
Posting JPG's instead of PNG's because the JPG's are much smaller in size. _________________ Soylent Green Is People !
