As far as I know you should be able to use a hub but I have never tested this. _________________ Eko Builds

I have just finished modifying Eko's latest 12774 micro plus ssh and added usb storage, printing, and autoap removed ssh and pppd to make room. No cgi, but it works. . . start a new thread for my edited build so we can diagnose and such.
I have downloaded this 12774 build, dd-wrt.v24-11296_NEWD_micro-plus, 17084 micro-plus, and 17084 micro-plus-ssh and I cannot find USB storage in any of these builds. Can anyone help? I'm trying to setup a USB harddrive on my USR5461. Thanks in advance,

I had instaled firmware 13309 NEWD USB Boot but my USR5461 very often hangs, for example when I put WAN cable or USB Pendrive. I've returned to DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/08/11) micro (SVN revision 17990M VINT Eko) which works like a charm.

This micro build works well on my f5d7231-4p belkin router.
This has 4mb of flash (16mb sdram), but for some reason bombs with mini builds. It allows me to use tkip encrypted wireless bridging, and supports unidirectional printing on my KONICA MINOLTA magicolor 1600W usb printer. Just need to add the command
p910nd -f /dev/usb/lp0
to the web/admin/command/startup list, or telnet in and
nvram set "p910nd -f /dev/usb/lp0"
nvram commit
to get non-bidirectional support.
Dont know about stability, it's worked OK for several hours now though. And it bootstraped up to mega and ran optware with swap on an old usb stick, too - though I dont need that. Beginning to think about adding a webcam and 3g usb modem for fun - probably not enough sdram though.
Great stuff.
i installed this firm on my asus wl520gc,
i executed the autoap in commands:
/usr/sbin/autoap &
all OK,
i try to execute
nvram autoap_prefssid="mynet*key*1234567890123"
nvram autoap_rescannow=1
but nothing happend
mynet is ignored ...
what i make wrong??
i put in command
nvram show
no autoap_xxxxx i found...
Thanks...
OMG... autobot & vacora22... you all are my heroes!
Autobot for giving a firmware that works with AutoAP on my Linksys WRT54GS v7.2 - 2Meg router and vacora22 for showing me the command to actually make it run! Thanks guys!
