EDIT:Nevermind, got it. But max speed I am able to get is 3MB/s when readin or writing from/to USB disk connected to my E3200. Is this maximum or can I somehow speed things up?
+ How can I open port for Transmission-deamon? I managed to open port form uTorrent on my PC, but even if I use the same port for Transmission it stil says "Port is Closed" under transmission settings.

You are expecting desktop performance on a router!

Thanks for help
Your are forwarding what?
Little info provided.
No, I am not expecting desktop performance on router, I am just asking if these speeds are normal or can I do anything to speed it up a little bit?

Yes
busybox' mount doesn't support all options.
it doesn't support -U (/bin/mount)
If you have optware's mount it DOES work. (/opt/bin/mount)
If you have OTRW already running it should run /opt/bin/mount by default. /opt/etc/init.d/S35automount already works with UUID
Dear all,
Thank you for this topic.
I have the same wish. Using a Stick EXT2 and a External HDD EXT3 on a WL500GPv2 with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/17/11) mega - build 17084M.
I have Optware with torrent client and Samba share (http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Optware), but is not installed in Router. So, when I need to mount -U, please, what options do I have?
Does anyone know how to fix php? I get this error on lighttpd startup:

OTRW media servers are known not to work with K26 builds. I would rip minidlna from a Kong firmware and use it on a USB stick.
Slobodan or anyone else, could someone come up with noob-friendly instructions on how to rip MiniDLNA from the Kong firmware and use it?
I have the RT-N16 with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/20/11) mega
(SVN revision 18024) installed. Everything is working fine except a media server. I have install Optware (the Right Way), but twonky gives the 'atexit' error that's been mentioned before.
(I can't use Kong's firmware because I read somewhere that it has issues with PPPoE, which I require)

You have to use Linux (e.g. Ubuntu), you have to svn the latest firmware mod kit, you have to run extract_ng.sh usb-ftp-samba3-dlna-nv**k.bin folder1 and minidlna will be found in folder1/rootfs/usr/sbin/ .
I only tried running ripped minidlna with Kong VPN firmware, I did not try it with non-Kong firmware. _________________ 2 times APU2 Opnsense 21.1 with Sensei

Following standard instructions - 'How to Install Optware the right way' on Asus RT-AC68U I get an error and it says to post feedback in this thread. So I'm doing that. I think I need a new repository as Optware definatley reported to work - trying to figure that out...
This will take a while!

Some newer versions of DD-WRT does not show download progress bar,
so just be patient - or check STATUS -> BANDWIDTH tab for download
activity in your routers Web-GUI, and then still wait a minute or two.

It says Optware is not compatible with DD-WRT kernels 3.x at this stage. I am running 3.10.30 on DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/19/14) std.
Can anyone confirm if I have any options other than downgrading (assuming downgrading is even possible on this router since it only has beta firmware anyway)?

There is an Optware flavor, called dd-ware, which is meant for Broadcom K3.x builds. If you want it to run, you have to install it fresh, e.g. first do rm -fr /opt then fsck the partition with a computer running Linux and then install OTRW2. _________________ 2 times APU2 Opnsense 21.1 with Sensei

Thanks for the info. I found OTRW2 (hadn't realised I was running from an out of date version) haven't found dd-ware yet, but it looks like optware services for 3.x kernel are quite limited at the moment anyway...
