All,

After much deliberation I got back to reformatting, repartitioning my usb drive and reinstalling otrw2 on my e4200 linksys router running the 22200M kingkong build.

I keep getting a "Optlog: Permission denied" message when I execute any 'service command to on/off/start/stop any of the service.

Looking for suggestions/directions to clear the error message.

Let me know if you need me to run any diagnostics that might help.

Thanks.

My understanding is it currently does not support ARM. Kong builds have a system installed that you can use for ARM (MUSL) telnet into the router and run
root# bootstrap to get going.

Hi

Another newcomer in trouble. Maybe there is someone who has nothing better to do than help me with this one: I am trying to follow this guide: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Optware,_the_Right_Way
And while downloading/installing optware I get this:

Quote:
root@DD-WRT:~# sh /tmp/prep_optware
date: can't stat '/opt/sbin/smbd': No such file or directory
sh: 2011: unknown operand
/tmp/prep_optware

So you are saying I can not run Optware on ARM chip at all? Damn! I wish I knew this before. Alternatives?
