Greetings,

I have set up an IP camera. No, wait, lets start at the beginning.

I have an IP camera set up that I used with my Linksys router (WRT54G VCool. I recently acquired a V3 of the same router so I put DD-WRT on it and set it up as close to the settings I can find on my version 8 router.

Now, the ip camera wont connect when I use the WPA2 Personal encryption; however, it DOES work with WEP or no encryption. The Linksys router used WPA2 Personal and the camera worked fine.

My questions is, is there any fine turning I have to do with DD-WRT in order to get this camera working?

Again, I am running WRT54G V3 using the DD-WRT 14929 firmware (that's V24-sp2 mini)

Have you tried connecting to the DD-WRT router with a regular PC while running WPA2 Personal? Also Have your tried AES, TKIP or AES/TKIP modes of WPA2?

I am able to connect to the router using a PC no problem. I am trying every possible setting but so far the only ones that work are WEP and nothing.

Quick edit: Looks like WPA Personal (AES) works. But I really want the WPA2 AES to work for me.

After disabling the WMM (Wireless - Advanced Wireless), and a quick reboot of the router (15 seconds power cycle), it seems to do it's thing.

I'm sorry to clutter the system. I should have thought of that but here it is for anyone else that needs the solution!
