I'm driving myself nuts here ... I have a primary DD-WRT WRT320N that works great connected to my TWC cable connection and running in AP mode (mixed, WPA2-AES). I haven't had ANY issues with any clients connecting (WinXP, Win7, MacOS X, Android, iPhone). I used to have a WTR54GS running DD-WRT as a client bridge to connect a few wired clients in another room from the main AP without running a cable. Everything worked great as far as I recalled, but the piece of junk stopped working.

I bought a WRT160Nv3 and flashed it with dd-wrt.v24-14853_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_wrt160nv3.bin using the 30-30-30 method and it seems to have taken fine. I can set it up in Client mode and get it to connect to my AP, but when I run Client Bridge (CB), it seems to indicate that it's connected but I can't ping the AP from a client connected via a wired connection to the CB (static IP) or from telnetting to the CB itself, it doesn't get thru. I'm going nuts because I swear I've configured it the way it was before. I've tried fiddling with a ton of things, but here's what I initially set up that won't work no matter how many times I wipe and re-flash:

Setup->Basic: Local IP 192.168.0.2 (AP is 192.168.0.1), subnet 255.255.255.0, Gateway 192.168.0.1

Setup->Advanced Routing: Operating Mode = Router

Wireless->Basic: Wireless Mode = Client Bridge, rest the same as my main AP

Wireless->Wireless Security: Same as main AP

Services->Services: DNSMasq = Disabled

Security->Firewall: SPI Firewall: Disable (after unchecking all boxes)

I think that's all it should take based on my reading of http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Client_Bridged and past experience

Did you assign WAN port to switch and enabled dynamic routing for both Lan & Wlan? I remember that I missed those when I first was setting up my network..

I can't say I'm entirely clear on what fixed this since I tried so many things, but I downloaded the latest Brainslayer build (14929), did a 30-30-30 and installed it and set up everything the way I did before, but waiting until after doing everything else to touch the wireless config and it worked.
