Dear DDWRT-experts,

i just successfully flashed the Belkin F5D7230-4 v2000DE with the "special serial flash image" following the instructions in the wiki to this version:

DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/24/09) micro-plus-ssh
(SVN revision 13491M NEWD Eko)

using this file:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/eko/V24_TNG/svn13491-snow/Bv2000/dd-wrt.v24-13491_Bv2000_micro-plus_ssh.bin

I have three questions:

1. for understanding: Is this "serial flash image" just neccessary for the initial flashing?

2. Which firmware file do i need to safely upgrade to the latest version (svn17084) ?

Can i take this one?

http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/eko/V24_TNG/svn17084/dd-wrt.v24-17084_NEWD_micro-plus_ssh.bin

If not, which one is the right?

the original file was in a subfolder "svn... snow" - there is a newer release 15943 :
http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/eko/V24_TNG/svn15943-snow/dd-wrt.v24-15943_NEWD_micro-plus.bin

is this the right file instead?

2.1 Can i upgrade via web interface or do i have to use tftp?

3. With the newer firmware: do the other wireless modes except from AP and Wireless Bridge work now?

Thanks a lot in Advance for your help!

No, 13491_Bv2000 is the latest you can use on that router.
