Build 13832 is out. Anyone willing to try it on their N10?
Did, No wireless. It loads but will not connect a CB or even show up as a access point. It won't connect to anything even though it will at times pick up access points but won't connect.
I even tried messing with X-mit power. Encryption, No encryption, no dice.
Damn, that sucks. Hopefully one of the devs will come investigate. _________________ [everything is to be replicate]
Test build: radio will work good only in G-modes (no N until we get new driver from broadcom to support SSN (Single Stream N)). There is also some problems with wireless signal display.
whats the preferred flashing method for the RT-N10? same as the other asus, load up the ddwrt_asus.trx or whatever and do it from the web? or straight TFTP?
I got it loaded using the web GUI and it seems to be working good. But I can't get any part of the wireless (radio) to work. I set it to G-only but it's still not showing up.

Probably like a number of folks, I have been a happy user of DD-WRT and bought this router recently due to a sale. Eagerly awaiting any update on support!

Got mines in the mail today. There is a GPL folder in the cd that contains a bunch of Linux files. I want to upload the entire folder so someone can look at it and see if it has the wireless driver file that is needed for full support. The folder is kinda big, about 257MB total. If anyone can zip the folder and upload it faster it would be nice. If only I knew what specific files to look for. :(
Ok nevermind that, the GPL source code is available on ASUS download section on the RT-N10 product page. According to ASUS they updated the wifi driver in the firmware 1.0.1.5 so hopefully the source code file will contain the new driver.

So anyone confirm that the files posted indeed work?
Yes they work, but the wireless is not working for me, not even in B or G mode. I know eko said they needed the single stream N driver so I assumed G mode would still work but it does not seem to work. Same problems as mentioned by those above.
Flashing, you have to start with the .trx file specific to the RT-N10, then once dd-wrt is loaded you can flash the .bin file posted by eko above. If you want to flash the .bin directly you will have to use the ASUS Firmware Recovery Tool, as mentioned by others.
Update: One thing I have noticed is httpd crashes and for some reason after trying to click on various tabs it times out for a while then it pops back up and the uptime suggests the router was recently rebooted. Lots of problems on this model it seems. Wireless mode is disabled since I could not get it to work, I don't know if that is somehow related. _________________ [everything is to be replicate]

Any news?
Nothing yet I guess. I was bored over the last few days so I opened up my RT-N10 and stuck an Aluminium heatsink on the cpu using some Sekisui thermal tape. I can't believe asus didn't atleast install a small heatsink. Maybe it does not really need one but after reading the threads about the RT-N16 and its heat problems I decided to install a heatsink on my N10 anyway. _________________ [everything is to be replicate]

I have been plagued with unreliability with this unit. I have reverted to the 1.0.0.8 firmware to see if it improves. I'm hoping that I can switch to dd-wrt soon. If not I'll be ditching it....

I experienced some issues as well as soon as I enabled the QoS features it just stopped responding randomly and pings to the router went up from 1ms to 1000+ ms. I am hoping those issues are not hardware related else I will have to ditch mine as well. At first I thought the problem was with the new 1.0.1.5 firmware but it also occurred on the 1.0.0.8 version. After reverting I just decided to not use the ASUS QoS features, everything has been working well after that. _________________ [everything is to be replicate]
