Hiiiiiii

Im new to the DD-wrt project .. i'm glad to know about it actually ..

i have a D-link DIR-300 REV B1 router.. i found in the wiki the DIR-300 REV A1 tutorial .. with no documentation for the DIR-300 REV B1 ..

so .. i have 2 questions ..

1- how can i upgrade to the DD-wrt firm. ? ( i downloaded the 2 bin files, i afraid of bricking my router so i want to be careful and read a tutor about it)

2- can i go back to my original firmware after upgrading to the dd-wrt ?

thanks in advance .. really words cannot express how im thankful to the DD-WRT community !

so the DIR-300 REV B1 is a clone of the DIR-600 ? am i right ? so same tutorials etc

another question

can i bridge the router with a mikrotik WDS ?? cuz the DWL-2100AP cannot do the WDS with mikrotik router

another question

can't we set the regulatory domain of the wireless card to NONE ?? and scan the full list of channels ?

10x in advance for replying ! Very Happy

Since im interested in WDS bridging .. i was reading this page

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/WDS#MTik_WDS

and i understood that i should buy a router that has the same WLAN chipset as the chipset of the WLAN card in the mikrotik router ... to get the WDS works between the mikrotik router and my router.. is that right ??

10x in advance .. im aware now that the DIR-300 B1 is the same as the DIR-600 ..but still wanna now about the regulatory domain .. how to set it to NONE .. etc

thanks
