Hi!

I think taht this is a general Q, so I post here. I am wondering if there is posibility to load open dd-wrt to this router LinkSys (Cisco) WRT54GH. Link http://www.linksysbycisco.com/APAC/en/support/WRT54GH. I got this router as a gift and I wan't to get it work as AP. The provider (LinkSyS) does not state if this is posible nor if it is imposible, but trough searching on internet and manual and trough te web interface of router I didn't found anything. Google points me just the results for LinkSys wrt54g. Now I don't wanna flash my router (as cheap it is) with wrong DD-WRT open software. If anyone know a way or point me to the software page I would apriciate it. I did look at DD-WRT page and search for this model. It shows me no result. Thanks for info, and sorry for my english. Hope you understand my writing and therefor my question.

Can you get the FCC number off the unit for us.

I highly doubt it will be supported though...I looked at the Linksys site you linked to and went to the firmware download section. The firmware for this model is only 639K which would indicate that this device only has a 1M Flash chip. dd-wrt is not possible on a device with a 1M flash chip.

Another thing that would help is to open the unit up and provide pictures for us of the chip sets.

Ralink, serial flash, can't make out the ram chip.
