I am very sorry if this question has been asked before. I have searched, but can't find anything about it.
My new router arrived today, pre-flashed with DD-WRT:

This is my first experience with opensource router firmware, and I'm starting to feel like I'm out of my depth. I flashed my router with Tomato just to see which I prefer, and I really wish I hadn't bothered. I desperately want to change it back, and I found this post:

I'm hoping someone could tell me if this post applies to people in my position with Tomato firmware installed? Or is this guide only meant for people who have the stock firmware?
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

You can flash back and forth between tomato and dd-wrt from the gui. Be sure to push the reset button after any new firmware has been loaded. Thanks for your reply. My first impression was that Tomato has less functionality, but also a less intuitive interface, with no built in help explanations of anything. I've read lots of good things about Tomato, and I just can't understand why everyone thinks its so good. I'm studying towards Microsoft certifications at the moment, and want to specialise in network infrastructure, so I think I'd rather stick with dd-wrt so I can learn more.
So you say I can just install the dd-wrt firmware from within Tomato with no problems? Whats a 30-30-30 reset though?

The safest thing to do is always to flash back to oem firmware before switching from one third party firmware to another. However that is a bit tricky on the wrt54g tm. You also need to read the announcements in the broadcom forum, particularly the peacock announcement. _________________ I fix "shortcuts".
