,

Got my Wndr3300 set up with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/02/10) std-nokaid-nohot-nostore - build 13577M.

Would like to move to the 5 ghz band to avoid the crowd (There are 6 different G routers in the 2.4 band around my neighborhood)

For people who are using this same router in 5 Ghz band, what PCI adaptors are you currently using to pair with the router, and what speed can you achieve with it?

Besides PCI adaptors, what other choices do I have? Are they any good?

Thanks

I have a D-Link DWA-547 in use. Works flawless under linux with the ath9k driver.
I think you should use a PCI/PCIe adaptor (no USB stick). The external antennas have usually a much better reception.

Hmmmm, many viewers, but few replies.

The question about the 5 Ghz band is: bleeding edge or dead end?
