You are right on. I used Chrome and was NOT logged in and did not see the file. I usually have Firefox automatically log in. Thanks for the the tip, I spent half of an hour looking for that file.

Thanks again for the instructions. I want to use the Buffalo as a repeater bridge so I still want to run dd-wrt 13525 but I like to go back to Buffalo if I want to use is as a router.

Also my RT-N16 is still with the Oem firmware, will try BS-14594 one day.

Smile

Thanks so so much for the great work. Can't believe I can see the Buffalo WebGUI again. Now I can enjoy my iPad and i5700.

If you stick with the Asus firmware for now, stick with 1.0.1.2

I found 1.0.1.4 to be VERY buggy

Only thing I wish the Asus firmware had, was a way to increase output power.

Otherwise, features, etc, seem good enough for me!

Guys, I wanted to try reverting my WHR-G300N, but I have problems getting the revert file, it seems it was moved, because the following link does not work anymore.

http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/other-downloads?path=others%2Feko%2FBrainSlayer-V24-preSP2%2F12-28-09-r13525%2FWHR-G300N%2F

Can you help me with this?

If you intend to revert from dd-wrt to stock firmware then I don't know where you got that link from..
Read this thread. All of it!!

Thanks for the hard work on the revert. I had put ddwrt on it right after it arrived and it wouldn't pass traffic right. Now with the stock firmware back I can determine what the real problem is.

Just re-flash a TFTP build - try any firmware.tftp build for the WHR-G300N

How is it 'bricked' ?

If the red (diag) light is flashing - it is not bricked, it can be recovered via TFTP

You may have trouble catching the TFTP on a Windows 7 machine though.

Try to use Linux or Win XP if at all possible.

After installing DD-WRT 14929 the router wouldn't resolve a internet IP whiles the LAN features seemed to work fine. Found no fix, but this worked out well Smile

The dd-wrt file firmware.tftp is an example of a plain firmware file with encrypted header and embedded commands. It actually contains this:

Airstation FirmWare
run u_fw
reset

Is these any way to change these commands? I want to change the command to upgrade other Buffalo Router via TFTP.

Thank you.

P/S: Sorry for my bad English.
