BY MOD: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=529137

Right following on from Sash comments.

I'm trying to get RB800 working with DD-wrt.

So far I've flashed A CF and with DD-wrt (using PhyGUI 0.52 on Windows 7)
I'm using the full serial Image of dd-wrt

Just checking for anything activity on the eth ports.

Ok I've tested all ports on 192.168.1.1 - for the router - but no luck.
I don't have a serial cable, so any ideas?

Hi Sash,

Did you get my PM - I'll be picking up a serial cable later. But for now is there anything I can do to test?
The wireless card inside the unit is Mikrotik 52n.

I've flashed the image again and about to start it.
There is a microswitch (S1) on the unit, I haven't pressed it yet but i believe that takes you to the boot menu, once the serial cable is in?

Ok after installing that image you've sent me - I cant see the wireless card in the unit.

But when using winbox - can see the unit's MAC address, but ip address is 0.0.0.0 - no OS looks like its detected.

Any idea on how long they will take to come back with an answer? My only issue that I need to return the unit if there is no chance of it working.

I'm a little confused - on the router database it states that RB's are not supported but in the wiki:

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#Mikrotik_Routerboard

It states some work others are WIP - so what is more up-to-date?

The connection should be
Eth1 = 1GB (MAC - 00:0c:42:72:ec:05) (to ISP)
Eth2 = (MAC - 00:0c:42:72:ec:06) no connection
Eth3 = 100mbps (MAC - 00:0c:42:72:ec:07)(to PC)

The wireless card is Mikrotik 52n

I'll run the command when I'm back tonight and get you the log.
