Hi,

is there the possibility to read out the provider and details like signal strength, actual mode (GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPDA) out of a USB 3G Stick? I live near the border to the netherlands and it would be really expensive to me if my stick would change into the dutch mobile net. I'm looking for a possibility to supress roaming or telling the Router only use the WAN if the Network ist the one from O2.

I'm open minded for other solutions.

Any suggests?

Kind regards

Ulli

PS: I'm using the newest BrainSlayer build on an Buffalo Gigabit router an a Huawei 3G Modem (E170)
