Dear all,

I want to know that what is the effect of new firmware on NVRAM ans CFE (common firmware environment)in the router.

Does they both or any one of them change or not?

If they change then up to what extent?

The nvram is where settings are stored so naturally it will change whenever you change your settings... The CFE will only be changed on certain models that have vxworks firmwares and need a "vxworks killer" file flashed which is a new CFE.
