To use for example Hyperterminal in Windows, or Teraterm, and set the serial communications parameters to 57600, 8N1

When you leave the next option to give a yes or no or ctrl c?

2: System Load Linux Kernel Then write to Flash via TFTP.
Warning! Linux in Flash Erase Then burn new one. Are you sure? (Y / N)
Please input new ones / or Ctrl-C to discard

Hi.

I'm trying to install dd-wrt .

I'm using a CA-42 virtual serial cable from my old nokia.

The cable is attached to Com3 port.
All is conected and when I open terminal and connect with terminal screen is blank ... I can't do anything.

What I'm doing wrong?

You have to make your choice before U-Boot enters the default choice.

If there are more than 3 wires in the cable then it may be that one of them is for +3.3V to the serial side of the adapter.

Test if TX is working by twisting the Rx and TX wires together. Anything you type on the keyboard should be echoed back through the loopback you created and should show up on the screen.

I'm a dummy in this matter spite of having already researched a lot and read some articles. Would you like to help me and if possible one tuturial step by step to put my router:

-Conceptronic C300BSR4A,
-Firmware Version: C300BRS4A_v2_v1.0.0
-boot Version 2.1.0
-Hardware Version 2.0.

I've done the download ar670w-ddwrt-webflash.bin file for flashing, but whenever I do the firmware upgrade, it runs it normally as if everything had gone well (100%) and then does the reboot, but the firmware is always the same. I've read that this model has to do with a serial cable to the router and solder pins.
Would be possible to prepare a tuturial or video on youtube for this exact model, as doing so and then as flashing the router to DD-WRT.
Thank you|
I await the answers or toturiais ! Very Happy :
