I have 3 WNR2000 v2 devices with identical setup.

Current firmware version on all devices: DD-WRT v3.0-r29621 mini (05/10/16)

Do not appear to be able to upgrade to any of the supported firmware versions listed 35247 - 40559.

Have tried to upgrade using both .chk and .bin files through web interface.
Result is the same router reboots and current version remains.

Have tried to upgrade over telnet / ssh
https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Installation
When I run the wget command firmware is not downloaded to the device
Have tried curl but it does not appear to be available on the device.

Maybe I am missing something?

Use http instead of https with wget. BS didn't enable ssl / https support in busybox. I'm still wondering why he didn't, since it works fine on my FreshTomato dev builds.

@bazg Resize your pics per forum rules.

Also keep in mind that builds after 40723 won't flash (I tested through 41418). You probably don't want 40559 anyway. I think I was doing CLI installs when I tested all this...it's a finicky router w/ a limited CFE.
https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Netgear_WNR2000V2#Upgrade_Flash

It boots twice to load DD, so it's possible part of the finickiness is timing related; mine is clocked at 373.

Thanks, now working, appears I was not flashing the correct file.

From the web interface, I was attempting to flash:
dd-wrt.v24-{Version}_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv64k.bin
dd-wrt.v24-{Version}_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin
dd-wrt.v24-{Version}_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-WNR2000v2.chk

When I flashed the corresponding dd-wrt.v24-{Version}_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini.bin i.e. dd-wrt.v24-33413_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini.bin it worked correctly.

@jwh7 screenshots removed.

My bad, I forgot to add that detail to the wiki. I recall running into that as well, that trailed builds don't work for upgrades. Wiki updated...thanks. Wink

You didn't need to remove the pics, just resize to fit the forum. Cool Anyway, glad you got it working!
