Here is another one for you. This is a pair of ethernet controllers on a ITX Geode based MB (MSI Fuzzy LX800). The eth0 or eth1 presently do not show up on an ifconfig.

working on an sg-10 that i pulled the modem out of the slot and put in a wireless card.. reg version of dd-wrt but not seeing the broadcom card.. Also tried older orinoco silver and a netgear wg511v2 in the card slot.. neither of those were seen at all..

This is PCI-Express card, but that shouldn't make any diffirence? (as it is shown on the lspci list normally).
EDIT: If I also put an Intel 82541PI (normal PCI) NIC inside, then the new 82572EI starts to work!! lsmod shows e1000 module loaded this way... But when I remove again the normal PCI Intel and start up, no e1000 shows up in lsmod...
And obviously new PCI-Express card works too with e1000, so this one should be easy one to squash? _________________ Site 1:

Nevermind just needed to load the e1000 module -- maybe you should add this card's info to the autodetect scripts so it loads the e1000 module automagically.
