Hello,
There is a new DIR-615 hardware version called D3 for the European market. I acquired one a few days ago and it looks similar to DIR-600 and DIR-615 D1, as in the same type of casing, same led arrangement and no detachable antennas.
I have a DIR-615 rev. D3 on my desk right now and would be ready to test anything to make dd-wrt working on it.
I didn't find any information about dd-wrt on the D3 model... But can I deliver some needed information for the developers?
I've just flashed my DIR-615 from the D-Link standard firmware update menu point with the file dlink-dir615d-factory-webflash.bin - no problems so far, conn seems to be nice (stable 50 MBit/sec).
That D3 I mentioned before was bought for a friend. I planned to get one myself, but eventually I got a D1 as the D3 stock emptied.
My D1 works flawlessly with the r14573 build you mentioned. Except for the reboot side button which stays lit red all the time. It's not that bothersome though. Does that also happen on your D3?
One problem for me seems to be that if I set NG-mixed it will connect with G at 54 Mbits, and if I set to mixed or N-only it will connect with N at 135 Mbits
You do realise you're only supposed to use the factory file the first time you go from D-Link's firmware to DD-WRT? After you've used the factory file you need to use the revb file, so when you first flash to DD-WRT you use the factory file and when that's finished you immediately use the revb file from within DD-WRT's Administration > Firmware Upgrade tab. Now when you up- or downgrade to new or old builds after this you just use the revb file. You can also revert to D-Link's firmware and back to DD-WRT again without having to use the factory file once you've used it for the first time.

For first part: yes.
For the second part: I don't know why after reverting to D-link's firmware there is no need to use factory again (I'd guess some values are already saved?) but I didn't need to use this option so I haven't searched the answer.

I installed successfully the last supported dir615 D3 firmware of dd-wrt but I'm not able to configure it as a repeater.
I've followed each step of different guides (official included) but , once configured, I can't manage to get a WAN IP. Also I've tried in different WLANs and the same behavior.
Does somebody manage to configure it as a client repeater?

Hi there, first post here too, and first time messing with DD-WRT. So far so good, I love it.
Just wondering however how could I make the side button (WPS) work as a wifi toggle. I thought I could reuse this script, but I'm having troubles finding out the GPIO led assignments. I tried disabling up to #30 in vain.
Any idea?
Also assuming I find the right gpio values, and replace ath0 with ra0, would that script still make sense for v24 preSP2 (Build15778) of 13-Dec-2010?
Thanks.
