Hey guys, recently I have been getting limited access error, causing my internet to stop and needing a reboot every time to get it working again.
I am running a nighthawk r7000 on DD-WRT v3.0-r28600M kongac
I do not know much about wrt because my friend set it up for me but I know the basics.
Anyone able to lend a hand?
Thanks in advance

Use a newer version, I can't remember the build number but one of the other Kong builds has that issue.

You would want to flash "dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD.bin" since you are already on DD-WRT, and once you do that do a 30-30-30 reset.

If you don't mind, would you kindly explain this process? I have no clue what a 30-30-30 is haha Confused
As I have no idea about messing with the firmware and dont want to ruin anything.
Will this reset all my settings and such?
Thanks!

You shouldn't (not to say you can't but unexpected things can happen) do that, correct. But it really doesn't take long to change everything back to what you had it before.

Yeah I wouldn't want to risk it, So I guess I can just screenshot all my current settings and just go from there correct?

Also, my main focus in the thread is only on step 1 and maybe 5 correct?

Thanks!
PS am I using the update that you linked me ?

I wouldn't really call them steps, more super useful tips Razz but pretty much yes to all of your questions there, but know it's possible to brick (most likely a softbrick with the R7000 but still possible) your router so if you don't feel comfortable doing it I'd have your friend help you out.
