Ich will das das die Paketverluste aufhören, zwischen Avila und den Client. Ich weiß nicht ob es an diversity liegt.
Hier noch mal Srennshots von Avila Einstellungen.
Passt soweit alles?

Wenn ich mir den Status so anschaue dann frage ich mich warum TX und RX Rate nur bei 1 Mbit liegt, obwohl das Signal sehr gut ist und mehr drin sein sollte.

Ich glaube auch langsamm das es an dem Client liegt.
Kann es sein das der Client einfach mit dem hohen SNR nicht zurecht kommt?

Da ist ein RTL8187L Chip drin. Kann es sein dass es einfach ein Muell ist?

Lapi sieht zwar den AP, aber AP sieht Lapi nicht, in diesem Fall ist wohl die Sendeleistung von Lapi einfach zu schwach.

Welche Hardware benutzt du auf der Clientseite Sash?

btw das is das hauptproblem ueber das sich die leute keine gedanken machen und auf der ap seite verstaerker einsetzten, was die sache nur verschlimmert.
deshalb mussen die antennen am ap so gut wie moeglich sein. ich nutze in 2,4ghz idr 17dbi sektoren.

da musst du mit deinem lap halt mal naeher rann gehen. die antennen sich idr so scheisse dass du naeher ran kannst.

ich nutze nur stationaere clients mit planarantennen

Habe als AP anstatt Avila mit EMP-8603 S Karten, Linksys WRT54G genommen und wer haette das gedacht die Paketverluste sind weg. Die Sendeleistung liegt bei 160 mW. und Auf der Clientseite hat sich nichts geaendert. Wie kann das sein, ist dort eingebaute Chip etwa besser als Atheros von EMP-8603 S?

Jetzt verstehe ich garnichts mehr.

mit sicherheit kann der wrt54 keine 160mw. nichtmal 100mw.

es ist bestimmt einfach weil die tx power viel kleiner ist

Da muss ich dir widersprechen. Linksys WRT54 kann maximal 251 mW, zumindest kann man in DD-WRT von 71 bis 251 mW angeben. Warum bist du der Meinung das es nicht mal 100mW schaffen kann?

Jetzt mal eine dumme frage, du kennst dich ja mit DD-WRT am besten aus.

In meinem Avila habe ich ja diese EMP 8603 Karten verbaut, diese haben ja bekanntlich zwei Anschlüsse.
Eins für 5 GHz und das andere 2,4 GHz.

Benutzt wird bei mir der rechte untere anschluss der Karte EMP 8603.

Jetzt zu der Frage, muss in der DD-WRT Software unter Antennen Einstellungen "Primär" oder "Sekundär" gewählt werden? Bei mir ist in beiden Fällen Primär ausgewählt.

Aber Primär ist in diesem fall für 5 GHz und Sekundär für 2,4 GHz richtig?

Ist das vielelichht der Fehler???

also ich habe IMMER primar ausgewahlt und es funzt praechtig! allerdings muss du auch von "gerneric atheros" auf die emp umstellen...dann weiss der treiber alles!
