Flashed my TP-Link TL-WR741ND v2.0 with v21061 and full 30/30/30 procedures. Everything went smooth.
Build seems to work fine. LAN Leds still not working. DHCP Lease time still not couting down (locked at 1 day). Load averages look ok. 40Mhz working fine (setting the channel manually). Using it as a normal AP.

This device has been set up at a friends house for the past 3 months, HWV is 4.0 and build is 19519. They were using it wired and only periodically with a very old wireless laptop, which worked flawlessly but recently they added some new wireless devices which has exposed a problem. Some show no SSID available and when multiple ones attach the radio periodically drops dead and it won't come back until the device is powered off/on. So I am going to try another firmware. I don't recommend this device as a dd-wrt router personally. Before that I had previous versions of dd-wrt installed on it that would not work at all, constant reboots, drop outs, etc but apparently there is something going on with the new laptops added to this network which makes dd-wrt give up and crash on this release which I was hoping was finally stable. I think I'll try a newer firmware, the 20675. I can deal with the lights not working if the rest of the box will still function.
My TP-Link router TL-WR741ND v4.22 is successfully flashed with build r19519. Currently running in AP mode with virtual (guest) interface enabled. Both SSID's are solid, no disappearing. Network mode is NG-mixed, Channel Width Turbo (40 MHz), Rate 150Mb/s. Security Mode on both interfaces is WPA2 Personal, AES algorithm.
2 wireless clients are currently connected to router. CPU load is 25% average. Everything seems fine so far. LED panel is working good. On System Info Page I've noticed one issue- client lease time is locked on 1 day. _________________ [WDS AP] TP-Link TL-WR941ND v3.6 =====> DD-WRT v3.0-r28493 std (12/10/15)
[WDS station] TP-Link TL-WR740N v4.27 ====> DD-WRT v3.0-r28493 std (12/10/15)
We have a client using Tp-Link WR741ND v4.22
The router is one month old. First of all we have replaced the original firmware to
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/11/13) std - build 20675
Everything was fine but none of the wireless devices were be able to connect. I found a post in one of these DD-WRT forums where anyone had this trouble with exactly the same router and firmware. Then i found an experts recommendation to replace it with
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/20/12) std - build 19519
WIFI devices are working now but the router randomly freezes in 2-3 days. There was a 2 weeks interval when they told that everything was fine but their notebook was unable to connect to the wireless network. A few days before i had to go there to see what is the problem. The wireless network had appeared. After rebooting it started to work normally. Now i have set TX power to 15dBm (from 18dBm) and WAN port's MTU to 1492 (from 1500). I found a forum post today with a warning not to set the TX power over 17dBm. Can this overset cause freezes and WIFI disappearing?
I can't put it out of my head that the router was stable for two weeks without WIFI and after the reboot it was freezing again in 48 hours.
