you should use wpa2-personal AES encryption only.
channel width should pe turbo 40Mhz only.
check youre wireless nic settings if you still can't get 150Mbps

Hi I'm new to using DD-WRT

I've got a TP-Link WR741ND router and I have flashed it with dd-wrt 15778 successfully, but I can't get it to work as client bridge. I have followed the instruction in the client bridge tutorial.

Can anyone help me?

So, we've been using DD-WRT in 2 routers remotely distant and connected to the Internet serving as gateway: LaFonera 2100 and ASUS RT-G32.

Both networks (LANs) were connected through PPTP.
For several months we were able to communicate from 1 lan to another even though using different subnets (ex: 192.168.1.0/24 and 10.0.0.0/24). This means that a computer on the 1st lan with IP 192.168.1.40 could reach, without any problems, another computer on the 2nd lan with IP 10.0.0.128.

It happens that one of the routers (Asus) had to be replaced. So we bought a TP-Link WR741ND v1 and flashed it right away with the latest DD-WRT build: 15778.

We made the config identical to the old Asus router and everything works fine except for 2 major problems:

1 - NAT Loopback is broken
(solved with firewall command: iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -j MASQUERADE)

2 - VPN Router-to-Router has NO COMMUNICATION.
The VPN is successfully established. We are able to check that on both routers, including routes and iptables IN OUT and FORWARD rules. However we can't ping absolutely nothing on the other side (router and other machines), so as tcp and udp connections.
If we try connecting from a Windows XP computer directly to one of the routers (any of them) it works. The router automatically assigns us an IP address from the same subnet that it is using. But between 2 routers with different subnets doesn't work.

I've tried everything i could remember (searched WIKI, Forum, messed arround with iptables, made several tests with different configs on TP-Link, switched who connects to who... etc, etc, etc. Everyhing looks OK but it just doesn't work and it's driving me crazy... I really need to have this VPN up.

Any ideas on something to try?

From the Router DB, it only show WR741ND is supported.

is TP-link WR741N = WR741ND?

I wonder if I can apply the same image in my WR741N Shocked Idea
