Hello,
I wanted to use this device (TP Link TL-WR741ND v4.25) as a repeater, so I set up a Client Bridge and virtual AP. The problem is, after few hours of uptime, I can't get into the web control panel. Browser says it took too long to respond. Pinging in CMD gets timeout. However, it's still working normally, and in the device that it's connecting to (WR841ND) I see it's connected. After rebooting everything works again, but few hours and it's unaccessible again. I really don't know what could be causing this, please help me.
I tried different builds: 37305, 36527, 36247
Everytime after flash I reset factory settings.

I changed these settings :
Local IP 192.168.0.5
Gateway 192.168.0.1 (main router, the one that it's connecting to)
Local DNS 192.168.0.1
Client Bridge mode, Default GW mode: manual 192.168.0.1
Made VAP
Set correct security
Operating mode: Router (default is Gateway)

Is there anything else I have to change?

Thanks for any answer Smile

37305 has some bugs. Get a more recent one.

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2018

See the new build topics for more info.

Hi, I tried some builds, even the latest one (38060), but I still have the same problem. Do you think this could be caused by some bad configuration? Is there a way to show you my full config (like a export from router settings)? Thanks Smile

Looks like the httpd daemon is hanging.

Can you Telnet / SSH into the router when it happens?

stopservice httpd
startservice httpd
