Hi, I got several WRT610nV2 with 15508 dd-wrt mini build.
On my 2.4Ghz radio, I would like to have 2 virtual networks :
-one in BG, or G mode Only
-one in N only mode (with restricted access for non N clients)
There is the value wl0_nreqd in NVRAM but there is no wl0.1_nreqd...
So I got two questions :
-Is it possible to do that ?
-maybe NG mixed mode will allow G clients to access network but it will not reduce performance for others N clients ?
It's not possible and there's not really any point to it anyways. VAP's still have to share the bandwidth of the main interface, having N on one interface and G on another that are sharing the same radio has the same performance as if you just ran mixed mode on one interface. The purpose of VAP's is to use different encryption and/or segment the traffic. _________________ Read the forum announcements thoroughly! Be cautious if you're inexperienced.
