no. it[firmware for v2] wont work with the v1. the v1 has a rt2880 cpu which is different. creating support for the v1 isnt that hard, but i dont have the device for testing and the v2 showed me that it takes some hours of testing until it works

BrainSlayer[admins, gurus, developers], if you ever read this, is there any way to help you to relase dd wrt for this belkin device v1? Rolling Eyes

That's what I'm trying to. I wrote to 3 guys from this forum about donation 13e each, but none of them have replied yet :/ Unfortunately, I'm not millionaire yet, so I'm not able to do donation just by myself.

Maybe when someone will realize, that without the donation there will be no new firmware for this router. So hopefully one will arrive in your address in the future. :D

//PS About router-detection
In the post above there are all facts, I've collected on this forum and web.

Hmm... Maybe there is still hope.
I've been waiting support for this router.
Already sort of bricked one with foolish attempt to do this by my self about year ago. Embarassed I managed to put original firmware back but functionality wasn't quite right after that. Got new one for free. :)

Maybe I could give this another try if someone can give me detailed description what I need to do and what I need to have to make this work.

I made router detection, as Sash wrote, so now we can just wait and hope there will be support for this device soon. Wink

Hi guys

Since I have no positive/negative reply from PMs I sent few weeks ago, I'll try ask here.

Is there anyone with this router who wants dd-wrt and is disposed for donating some money, so we can donate this HW?

On the buy.com, this device can be bought for 66,00 USD = 48,07 EUR

I'm totally in, so I hope, I won't be the only one Rolling Eyes

I'm in if we get 2 more people donating money.
13€ each wouldn't be that bad for getting support.

Hi IceVice, me,Vopletti and timmywo have been trying to buy this device and donate it to germany, but with no luck.

I found this some devices[v1000] on ebay or amazon fo 50$, but they deliver only to US. There is a service called shipito, but the delivery from US to Germany would costs extra 50$, so it's quite expensive. I asked on the buy.com, where this model costs 60$ including delivery, but they have not reply yet.

So I'm glad you want to help. I would say, that most important is to find v1000 on web e-shop, amazon, ebay ...

The first one, who'll find one, can let know others here on the forum.

Sash: if you're reading this, don't you know any way to buy this device. You may know more sources. We would donate money and you would buy one.
