Hi Keon91,

I've tested the latest build and it seems the wireless performance is indeed better, although not as good compared to the original firmware (40Mbits instead of 60/70Mbits).

But in the end I've re-flashed the stock firmware, because it seems this builds are not quite stable (even being test builds, in my opinion, they are really unstable). A lot of dropped connections either via LAN or WLAN, problems accessing management, random reboot's, etc.

I'll wait for the next releases to do more tests.

Thanks,
Anthon.

Have 15471 running on my dir-600.

Stable but it only works on the 20mhz band.

If I select 40mhz with wpa2 aes, max which my laptop recieves is 65mbit.

Hi all,

I read al post for solve my problem, my transmision rate isn't upper of 54Mbps.

I put WPA2-AES and the banding in 40Mhz and now I'm receiving over 135Mbps.

I changed TX Rate to 100, but really i don't know if this affect..

I hope I could help someone.

which build are you running?

Did you change other settings except the one you mention?

Sorry to bring up this old thread.

But I got a hold of a DIR-600 B2. Any news on which firmware is most stable on wifi? Also I would like to have a firmware that has Open-VPN Daemon, is it available for DIR-600?

There is no OpenVPN for cheap entry-level routers with only 4MB of flash storage.
