I have added the router in the Supported Devices wiki page as a work-in-progress and also sent an email to Brainslayer requesting official dd-wrt support for it and referring him to this thread. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
Nice, let me know if any additional info is needed.
I am going to try and port the LCD display app from the provided source code to display some more useful info (like graphs, detailed speed, etc).
Ok, I guess I will upload it:

Basically, stock DD-WRT for DIR-825 with last byte changed. You can download the original and use a hex editor to change the very last byte to be the number 1 in ASCII instead of 0.
Instructions:
1. Plug computer into port #1, set computer IP to 192.168.10.2, and make sure port speed is not gigabit or it will hang at uploading.
2. Hold down reset button while powering on the device for 30 secs.
3. Visit http://192.168.10.1/ and upload the file above.
4. Reset network to use DHCP, router will be at http://192.168.1.1
Done.

I would like to buy TEW-673GRU for sharing 3G connection. However, it would be nice to get NAS and torrent support on it. Could anyone who already converted it to dd-wrt check those features?
I just installed your copy in my TEW-673GRU and all work really great except one thing.
I have activated the USB support in the firmware but I can't connect to my usb device with "Trendnet usb control center utility" It' the trendnet app to connect to usb device.
I also try to install Dlink app "Shareport utility" and I can't connect my usb device too.
Have you some suggestions?
Thank you.
IlyaE, I take a snap shot of NAS section in my router. It look like it's supported...
Probably not, as it only works in the DIR-825. You can load the regular DD-WRT firmware updates without any modifications to the DIR-825 file.
I just upgraded to DD-WRT v24-sp2 (05/08/11) std (SVN revision 16994) a couple days back. Just download dir825-firmware.bin and go to the DD-WRT upgrade page.
Not really. There are some instructions on the wiki on how to do it.
Most, if not all, questions asked in this topic are not specific to this device, but the DD-WRT build/version. So you will have better luck asking in the general forum (or doing a search there).
I did not write or contribute any code to DD-WRT to make the TEW-673GRU work. For all intents and purposes, you have a DIR-825 when you install DD-WRT on the router.
