Hi guys,
I'm quite new at this, but I think my QOS is not really working.
I have a D-Link DIR-615-C1, running build 14311.
I have 2 problems with the QOS (HTB):
1. Global Uplink/Downlink setting don't seem to have any effect. I have a 10Mbps/800Kbps DSL connection, but even when I turn QOS on and put very low numbers in the Uplink/Downlink fields, I still get full speeds when doing a speed test.
2. L7 protocol prioritization doesn't seem to work.
For example: I've set FTP priority to Express, but I get:
cat /proc/net/ip_conntrack | grep "dport=21 "
tcp 6 3597 ESTABLISHED src=192.168.1.144 dst=213.248.114.243 sport=54831 dport=21 packets=16 bytes=814 src=213.248.114.243 dst=79.183.198.200 sport=21 dport=54831 packets=16 bytes=1405 [ASSURED] mark=0 secmark=0 use=14
This is the same for all rules. I never see any l7proto field in any of the connections, and therefore mark always stays 0. Also tried port rules but they don't work either.
Only thing that seems to be working is MAC priority which I've set for the VoIP adapter (exempt), and I do get:
udp 17 87 src=192.168.1.128 dst=82.166.210.6 sport=5060 dport=5060 packets=2 bytes=1504 src=82.166.210.6 dst=79.183.198.200 sport=5060 dport=5060 packets=2 bytes=973 [ASSURED] mark=100 secmark=0 use=5
Any suggestions? |
