Hi there,
I have an wrt54g v4 wich blinks the power led permanently, no dmz led and the ethernet leds alterns (betwen startups) the 3 firsts or all of them.
The interesting thing is that when I manage to flash the CFE.bin and back it up, they have diferent md5 cheksum... the intel flash chip appears to change one bit of heach bite (example ffffffff is fffffeff).
Another is wrt54g v8 wich lid on all the ethernet lights, but the power and dmz remains off (strange uh?). The ethernet ports doesn´t works as the v4 (so the pc shows no conection) and the tjtag doesn´t detect the eon flash chip, so no further progres. as the cpu is recogniced and write enabled
I had assumed that the tjtag version was the right one.
With this jtag cable I managed to debrick some other wrt´s (thanks to all of you folks!) and with this two ones I´m having headakes, the two remarcable facts (for me) are the cpu hotter than usual, and the ethernet ports deads.
Any help will be really apreciated.
