I watch this topic more than I really should. Eko, if you come up with a version of DD-WRT that you need somebody to test on a WNDR3400, I'll be glad to volunteer. I'm not in a position to afford a new router if I brick it, but if that happens, I can always revert to my old WRT54G.

Just a FYI.. Netgear also currently has the WNDR3400 version 2 in beta testing. Not sure of the differences yet. No downloadable firmware image and I haven't popped the top on it yet Smile If there's interest I could open it up and id some chips.

Hi there! - Any news on this? Bought that router for my mum to build a vpn with her and when unpacking I figured, that i missed the WIP flag in the router database, since I stood in the store and only had my tiny IPhone-Display for viewing it Sad

I have a WNDR3400 with Cablevision firmware.

I'll provide any info that's needed.

Same here. If needed, I have no problem with pulling the router apart.

Hope someone makes a cable and does a bootlog before I begrudgingly take it upon myself.

Let me know if you need me to compare anything. I won't be the first one to do JTAG, but if you can successfully do it, let me know. I'll happily make/order a JTAG once I actually know how to connect it correctly.
