I upgraded from stock to dd-wrt today on netgear wndr3400v1 today. I had openwrt but it didn't have 5ghz working so decided to go with the latest dd-wrt for this thing. Both wireless radios are working so far but GUI is a little slow when comparing to openwrt responsiveness.

I used this firmware:

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/2014/12-22-2014-r25697/broadcom_K26/dd-wrt.v24-25697_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-WNDR3400.chk

It was a little bit of pain to go from openwrt -> stock so I could install ddwrt since wanted to be as clean as possible.

If anyone has any idea on making GUI faster, then please let me know. I've rebooted a few times since there was mention of slow GUI in a previous post in this thread.
