So it's pretty safe to assume we're not talking about the WNDR3400v2 here? My v2 model has a completely different cpu..

I don't know if the v2 is in retail channels yet. There's a place on Netgear's ftp for firmware, and there's been some language file updates, but no firmware on their site. Doing a search on their website for "wndr3400v2" shows nothing. Doing a google search doesn't show much either. I personally received this router from netgear though, it's on my network right now, I know it's legit
