This is the correct one for Atheros devices.

As the above poster noted, DO NOT use what OP linked (please edit your post OP)..

Anyway build 15279 appears to have been pulled from the FTP and replaced with 15314. Get it here ftp://dd-wrt.com/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/

Maybe it's just a placebo but this build appears to be performing better than previous.

DONT install these, this is the atheros area and installing one of these would not be good on your atheros router. the above are for broadcom routers.

This is the correct one for Atheros devices.

Sorry corrected the link

installed this from openwrt to try it out, worked fine except my usb doesn't get detected like 14929. besides that it seems fine.

I still think there are some stability issues. I'm also somewhat disappointed of the lower TX power, but I don't have any real signal issues in the places I need it so its not that bad. I think Openwrt worked FAR better, but I like the ease/speed of management with DD-WRT.

I agree with the openwrt, the 27dbm vs 21 max is a nice boost, I really didn't test out the wireless too much since my wireless N laptop is being borrowed out until monday but G mode seemed to work normally while only at 21dbm, when I enabled the usb support and saw neither my usb drive nor my 8GB flash drive were detected I decided that it was pointless to play around with this build, I really wish openwrt had a web interface like ddwrt does, I probably wouldn't bother coming back to try out the new versions but its always fun to play around with.
