It's a v4, been running WRT firmware for about 4 or so years now with no problems. But recently I've needed to log in to wake up my server computer remotely occaisonally. So, I set up remote access and from home via WiFi from my laptop if I type in my IP address (not the local 192.168 address), the control panel comes right up no problem.

If I try to access it from my iPhone or work computer, it never comes up.

Is there something I need to change?

Are both of these using remote connections? The iPhone should be able to connect while connected to the WLAN.

If your WAN IP listed in the router UI starts with 10, 172.[16-31], or 192.168 then you have multiple layers of NAT and need to port forward on the router that is ahead of the dd-wrt router. Otherwise your ISP could be blocking it.
