Again updated my E2000 (converted WRT320N) from r15501_K26_std-usb-nas to r15506_K26_std-usb-nas without problems.

This build seems to have fixed a DDNS related problem (http://svn.dd-wrt.com:8000/dd-wrt/changeset/15505 and http://svn.dd-wrt.com:8000/dd-wrt/changeset/15506) despite DDNS worked fine on my router running r15501 (it registered the correct IP despite I did not check it from outside my network).

WRT320n with dd-wrt.v24-15506_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini_wrt320n.bin

1°) An initial wireless N connection is only partial : good ssid, very good signal, W7 or XP say 300 mbits/s ... but no internet connection. It should be launched Internet Explorer so that all returns OK (DNS ????)
Edit : I am stupid, it's my modem.
2°) Status --> Wireless give channel 4 but, W7 and inssider say 6 + 2
3°) Status --> Wireless Wi-viz Survey .... nothing !!! (good with 15501)

Good or not ?

Use this settings on DynDns:
DDNS Tjänst: Own
DYNDNS Server: members.dyndns.org
Username: username
Password: password
URL: /nic/update?
Extra DDNS val: --ip_server_name checkip.two-dns.de /

That is working Very Happy

It may work initially, but it will eventually fail. That canonical name resolves to 3 round-robin ip addresses and 2 out of the 3 respond sporadically if at all. That is the real source of the problem.

DynDns support says they are aware of the problem with their server and are working on fixing it.

Strangely inacative use of this build? Shocked

I put it on my 310nv1 (std_nokaid k24) and put the router into repeater mode. Seems to be working fine.

I put it on my signature units 600n V1 and 4 E2000 without any problems to report as of yet.

I guess this is because Eko released r15508.

Flashed my E3000 with std e2k-e3k and all is working well. Flashed from 15501 to eko std 15508 to monitor speeds. I rolled back to this build after determining in my environment at least Brainslayer builds continue to deliver better speeds wireless and wired. Running Port Forwarding, DDNS, WPA2 Personal AES, Dual Radios with clients on both freqs. Very fast and stable. Thanks Brainslayer.

Does WOL (Wake On LAN) work for anyone anymore?

Was working fine on build 15437. I upgraded to 15501 & then to 15506. Didn't work on either, just wanted to know if it could be something configuration wise.

TIA
