Hi
My system is four of wrt54gl one is the sputnik Internet router v23 SP2 09/15 two it repeaters v24 Beta 09/10 and one wds 24 Beta 08/17 and I wonder if anyone has noticed the signal quality % is so different have a look at the images.
Question is what can cause the difference??? Or just why?

i think WiFi signal cant be trusted 100% on my AP it says 25% to the client
but on the client it says 65%
but the speed always showing the same one tho....
so which one is right?
i guess the AP summarize the signal for accepting from many clients
but from clients side it just one point signal strength to the AP

on 100 ping count you have 1x1000 ms, that still ok to use, maybe the interference cause that bad reply, have try to change the channel ? ... that's look the router check the connection with other WDS link (other AP) _________________ 365'pc WRT54GL 1.1 + DD-WRT wds - client mode - client bridge

i think so too .... in any other thought that WiFi isn't dedicated connection so i think its considerable ok.....
the channel now is ok....
but strange things happen last nite suddenly lost connection to the AP
i restart the AP 2 times solve the problem..... _________________ シンゴ
