I am also interested to try dd-wrt, but I cannot try without 3g support, because I am condemned to 3g as only way to have internet.
I will appreciate any help!

@diavolo - No i haven't managed to get 3g working...
All i read about 3g and ddwrt its all about the mega versions of the firmware for router with 32+ ram and this one only got 32.
I've read i thread were someone says something about including the 3g module on ddwrt not-mega.. but i can't find it now.. maybe its that topic you say..
If someone could help us compile the 3g module for 32m ram modem i'm looking forward to test it!

Today I tested the std version attaching an flash disk into the USB port. The device is not recognized... maybe the generic mini+usb version (http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/eko/V24_TNG/svn17990/dd-wrt.v24-17990_NEWD_mini_usb.bin) is a half way to get 3g working...
@sysmatck
I saw that you successfully flashed this router to dd-wrt, and I want to know are you try to went back and restore original Chinese firmware?
I am interested to try Asus RT-N13U image and to enable 3g, but because this router is essential to my home I want to check can I reverse him in original state.
Thanks in advance,
@sysmatck

Hello @diavolo, I'm sorry, but I can't help you! I did not flashed back the original firmware, dispite I do have an suposed original backup file (not made by me, I downloaded it).
Also, I did not made the Asus firmware test, and I prefer in this case try the generic version first...
The USB function as storage is more interesting for me; but the particular router I made the flash, I will use in my father's company, so, for those testing purposes I will need to purchase another one, and I do expect to know other ways to write the entire memory in case of brick!

I reverted my two routers to the Aceex 22/Y firmware. I simply couldn't get the dd-wrt firmware to "forward" my DHCP request to my main server where the DHCP is running.
wive-ng-rtln worked like a charm, looks just like the Aceex firmware, but with a bunch of extra features.
bin used was the Acorp_WR-300N-2T2R.2.0.5.RU.26012012
btw, I had a quick look in the /sbin dir of the Aceex, and there's a shell script in there called connect3G.sh or somthing like that, with a few modems listed, you might want to check it out.
