The X86 version wasn't doing a mkdir for the nvram that it should have been.

I saw that, but under what context is such a thing done? In other words, what is its relevance?

Well ... I finally installed this version (15778). Everything appears normal. On the bright side, at least it works. Wink

I, too, am having the same problems. I think this build the Port Forwarding became broken. Everything else seems to work fine. If I revert to an earlier version, everything as far as port forwarding gets corrected. This may be a bug in the build. It shows all the proper port forwards, but will not route to the IP as if it was turned off.

I'm having the same issue - none of my port forwards are working. I didn't have this issue until I updated to build 15747 and I'm still having the issue with 15778. Before build 15747 I hadn't updated in probably 5 or 6 months. I always do 30/30/30 before and (10 mins) after flashing and I always reconfigure settings manually - no scripts. I'm running a static IP and using portforward.com and grc.com to test that the ports are not forwarding. Other than that everything seems to be working fine for me.

ETA: My router is a Linksys WRT600N v1.1 and I'm running the mini build.

My router is the Linksys E3000 running the Mega build, but also tested the big build.

I am having no problems with port forwards, even with upnp, you guys made sure to hard reset and config from scratch hopefully.

Yes, I did a full on restart, hard reset, reset to default for upgrade, and then hard reset again.

I set up my port forwards and no luck. Reset to 15704 and everything works perfectly fine.

Thats odd...

Port forwards work for me, i have two single port entries on two machines that get static ip from routers's dhcp server, my wan connection is PPPoE. Shields Up reports that the ports are open and my p2p programs work fine (green status, uploading in progress).

Maybe the problem is on the web interface because i didn't used it to configure the port forward, instead i used nvram variables.

Quote:
nvram set forwardspec_entries="2"
nvram set forward_spec="Deluge:on:both:45000>192.168.1.100:45000 uTorrent:on:both:54451>192.168.1.101:54451"

Code:
iptables -t nat -vnL
looks fine

Confirmed, port forwarding is not working on firmware dd-wrt.v24-15778_NEWD-2_K2.6_big. Port forwarding is working on firmware dd-wrt.v24-15704_NEWD-2_K2.6_big. I use WRT320N.

Just checked here .. E3000 (converted) mega 15778, port forwarding works fine. Are you using limited SSH or Telnet access on the security page? (Wondering if iptables has issues on your router.)

I just checked on my wrt320n running k2.6 big 15778 and port forwarding worked fine.

Are you guys accidentally filling in the source net? It's a new option that restricts what remote sources can access the port forward so you should leave it empty if you want it to allow every source.

If you encounter the problem could you please post the usual info plus the output of these two commands.

iptables -t nat -vnL PREROUTING
iptables -vnL FORWARD
