I have tried to flash the v.24 sp2 - build 15655 for WR841N v7 but I found that the 5 port of the router did not work.
It is a great problem that the router cannot get the IP from wan.....4 lan port are also cannot connect to the router that cannot go to 192.168.1.1.....
But the wireless of router is work fine.....that I can use the talnet to convert the router back to orginal firmware......
Hope the coming verion of DD-WRT of v7 is work fine.

the v7 firmware i did is AR7240 based. (the v5 is based on AR7240 too)
could someone post internal pictures or a fcc id of the v7. i want to check if tplink did some dirty hw hacks in. because the AR7240 has a cpu embedded switch and its curious for me that this switch wont work, since its working on the v5 as well which has the same cpu and hardware _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? I dont know if this may sounds stupid, but v7 is running on AR7241........

dont know if there are any difference.
No it doesn't sound stupid, there are differences in the PCI operations between 7240 and 7241.
The WR841ND v7 should according to my notes have an AR9287 PCIe radio which is 2-stream and dual-band. _________________ Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!

It seems to not be able to connect to the internet on mine, and I did something in options, now I can't even find the router wirelessly, and not sure how to go to the web interface with a wire. i think i bricked it.
