For starters, I'll say that I dd-wrt'd a bunch of linksys routers with no problems what so ever but this one got me stumped.
What got is a wrt54gs V7, I followed the directions and down loaded vxworkskillergsv7-v3, Things didn't go well, entirely possible that I powered it down too quickly...not sure.
What I got now is as follows:
1. no power light or any other light.
2. the LAN light powers up when a live LAN is hooked to it
3. the unit will ping fine with TTL 100 all day long
4.no web interface

What I tried so far:
1. Followed different sets of instructions
on unbricking it, including the Peacock FAQ page with the same results, I'm getting a "request time out" message.
2. pin 15,16 short/ground with no result. Nothing I do changes anything.

So, before I'm ordering a JTAG kit.....any ideas?
If I forgot to give any info, its unintentional (nube prob), so please ask!

TFTP a micro build on it from a set IP.

"Now" 4 and "Tried" 1 are inconsistent.

Did that about 20 times,
keep getting a "request timed out" with no change.

I'm getting a "request time out" message.

These two statements are inconsistent. If the first one is true, make sure you are doing the tftp process properly. Then order the cable. If the second one is true, just order the cable.
